Low Country Employment Achievement Program (LEAP)

Lowcountry Employment Achievement Program.

LEAP was designed to enhance employment skills of local women through educational seminars on job placement opportunities, completing resumes and applications and interviewing skills.

The program also provides information relating to banking, credit management, and tips on how to successfully balance home and work responsibilities.

Zonta Club of Hilton Head Island receives referrals from the community. Our vision is to attract women within Beaufort County who are entering the workforce for the first time, re-entering the workforce after a long absence, or employed women seeking advancement.

The free series of workshops are held in the Fall.

For questions or additional information contact info@zontahhi.org.

Below are some testimonials from previous participants which demonstrate the impact LEAP has had on their lives:

“The LEAP seminar has opened my mind to all of the possibilities that I could become whatever I want to be at 38.”

“Leap motivated me to believe in myself again after losing my job, my health, and almost my home.”

“I’ve learned to slow down and take time for myself.  The Leap Program also taught me about my financial situation.  I have learned to plan and budget…something that I never did before.”
